I spoke with the big guy earlier this evening.
He is feeling lots better and thankful for the medical intervention. He is hoping to be sent home tomorrow under a strict rest remit to slowly build himself up for a second operation in a few weeks time.
It will take a lot of rest and healing time but should make a full recovery although maybe taking things a little slower pace in the future.
He sends his thanks for all the well wishes and is planning on rig tying In a few weeks time for the summer.
Great news he is on the mend and full of good spirits ( not the liquid type).
Thanks Mike for putting this post on the forum,
I am home now from the hospital.
