However after careful consideration of the primitive nature of our guests where a knife and fork may confuse them, we have opted for the something simple choice of
Pie and chips,
burger and chips.
Peas and gravy
Sorry to disappoint but we have to consider the woodland foraging background of our guests.
Pie and chips or burger and chip options, please let me know your choice. Pies are very good and highly recommended

Typical selfishness. Not sure what we will end up with as Meat is banned at Lindholme, I'll make sure all the JM lads have had there Tetinus Jabs.
Does your guys like nuts and lentils Billy?

Look forward to seeing you again my good friend.
I've been hanging on hoping for a call from Eddie to replace Mako on Saturday, in Japan, against France - but, alas, to no avail.
So I'll be standing in for Jasper now on Saturday ( good job he ordered pie, chips and peas )

There is no pi$$take this year mate, all very serious in the depths of Sherwood.
All the on line banter and all the poetry missing as Billy and his boys worry about fishing Lndholme again.

James Maud AC vs Big Bash AC
James Maude AC 50 years young versus new Boys Big Bash AC fishing for the Martin (Ferret) Ferraby Memorial Trophy in a two leg home and away team match. A trophy dedicated to a great James Maude stalwart Terry (Ched) Cheeseman. Both Ferret and Ched loved these team matches.
The match is run on section points system which equals out any flier pegs.
The clubs have been competing since 2012.
Some faces have grown a little older, some anglers have left clubs and we must not forget those who are no longer with us but watching down from above in their team colours.
15 anglers each team, strangers in the beginning, but 7 years on firm friendships have developed built on competition and banter. Its common now for anglers in each club to take up spare places on each clubs league matches which further cements the relationships of the great clubs.
The history of the cup is
2012 James Maude
2013 James Maude
2014 James Maude
2015 Big Bash
2016 James Maude
2017 Big Bash
2018 Big Bash
2019 to be decided.
Current status is
James Maude 52 points Big Bash 53 Points.
Tomorrow the winners will be announced around 17:15 when team captains Billy and Leo have counted and recounted the scores on the weight cards.
Good luck guys, travel safely and enjoy the day.
